The Story
I was not the naturally athletic kid.
I was nerdy, uncoordinated, and one of the last picks when teams were chosen. After getting beat up by a stronger kid, I started training as a way to become more confident and capable. Early on, training became more than a workout for me — it became a vessel for self-growth.
Training gave me a way to build ownership over who I was becoming.
That journey took me from an unathletic kid to an NCAA All-American wrestler and then a top-ranked professional mixed martial artist.
But my aggressive pursuit of improvement came with plenty of missteps.
Years of injuries, setbacks, and surgeries taught me that effort alone is not enough. I was sabotaging both my athletic trajectory and my health. Without intentional programming and responsive adjustments, I was breaking down as much as I was building up.
I had to pivot and find a better path forward.
I sought mentorship from experts in physical preparation and recovery, earned a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, and became an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. More importantly, I learned how to turn training into a system for adaptation, resilience, and long-term progress.
Since retiring from competition, I have found my purpose in becoming the guide for others that I once needed.
The Vision
We are building a community of growth-minded individuals who value intelligent training and long-term progress.
A place where challenges are embraced, health is protected, and training moves people forward — instead of wearing them down.
For athletes, that means developing the physical tools needed to perform in their sport while staying durable enough to keep pursuing it.
For every member, it means building strength, confidence, and capability that carries into the life they want to live.

They will bring out the best in you, revealing potentials that you never realized you had. If you want the best results, train with them. They continue to challenge me, and after 3 years of training, it is still so exciting and fresh.
